Preview MVP MMA 1 Prelims: Rousey vs. Carano – Results & Highlights

Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions is ushering in a new era of mixed martial arts with the event headlined by Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, broadcast live from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Ronda Rousey makes her return to the MMA octagon after nearly a decade, facing fellow combat sports pioneer Gina Carano. Carano also makes a long-awaited comeback, having last competed in 2009 after a significant loss to Cris Cyborg.

The co-main event features Nate Diaz stepping back into the 4oz gloves for a bout against BKFC standout ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry.

Rounding out the top of the main card is former UFC and PFL heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who will compete in just his second MMA fight since January 2022 against Philipe Lins. Ngannou previously secured a first-round knockout over Renan Ferreira in his debut PFL appearance.

Before the main card action, six preliminary bouts are scheduled, including an intriguing women’s matchup between Aline Pereira and Jade Masson-Wong, and an appearance by former ONE flyweight world champion Adriano Moraes.
