A wrestling showdown between fierce rivals Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is reportedly close to being finalized, according to recent media reports corroborated by Alfredo Auditore, CEO of ALF Global.
Jones and Cormier recently served as opposing coaches on the ALF Reality show. Despite sharing several notable moments during the show’s production, their long-standing animosity persists, with Jones often attributing this to Cormier.
Now, Alfredo Auditore aims to arrange a wrestling match between Jones and Cormier, offering Cormier an opportunity for a victory over Jones outside the octagon, an outcome “DC” has reportedly desired.
Auditore recently shared:
“We’ve organized a wrestling match between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier in our PWL league. It’s nearly confirmed from both sides.”
Further commenting on the potential Jones vs. Cormier wrestling bout via an Instagram post by Red Corner MMA, Auditore stated: “In the works.”

Daniel Cormier expresses strong doubt that Jon Jones will ever agree to a wrestling match against him, citing Jones’s previous rejections of similar offers. Cormier anticipates Jones will decline again, despite the efforts of Alfredo Auditore and his team to facilitate the contest.
In a recent video, Cormier stated:
“Jon Jones and I. That is a 10-0 match. Every single time. I know it. And he knows it. Alfredo spoke about it the other day, and I will tell you. He is telling you the truth. When they are trying to make a competition between Jon Jones and I come together.”
“Here’s the problem, though…Reality is… You don’t have to goad me into this wrestling match. I know as a fact I’ll beat him 10-0… He will not wrestle me. He won’t do it.”
Cormier also revealed that he and Jones were offered a substantial seven-figure sum for a wrestling match. However, the two-time Olympian in men’s freestyle wrestling believes Jones is unwilling to accept, fearing it could jeopardize his legacy due to a potential loss, as he understands he is easily defeated by Cormier on the wrestling mat.
