In a surprising exhibition boxing match at Misfits Boxing in Manchester, Tommy Fury emerged victorious against Eddie Hall, the renowned World’s Strongest Man. The bout saw Fury overcome a substantial weight disadvantage of over 100 pounds.
Fury adopted a strategy early on to tire out Hall, focusing on movement and forcing the larger man to chase him around the ring. Initially, this approach saw Fury lose the first two rounds. However, his fortunes shifted in the third round as Hall’s pace began to wane, and Fury started to land his punches more effectively.
As the fight progressed, Fury gained momentum, and Hall appeared increasingly outmatched. While it seemed Fury was headed for a clear decision win, Hall staged a late rally in the sixth and final round, landing several significant blows and forcing Fury to adopt a defensive stance.
Despite Hall’s determined effort in the closing moments, it was not enough to sway the judges’ scorecards. Tommy Fury was ultimately awarded the victory by majority decision.
