The verbal sparring between Kayla Harrison and Ronda Rousey has intensified, with Rousey launching a fiery critique of her fellow fighter.
Rousey, who is preparing for her comeback fight against Gina Carano, streamed live on Netflix, expressed her belief that this bout would be the most significant in MMA history. However, Harrison and others have dismissed the matchup as irrelevant due to the prolonged inactivity of both fighters.
Rousey did not take Harrison’s recent comments lightly. During a promotional event for her return, “Rowdy” retaliated, asserting that she and Carano will always be superior. She also claimed that the 35-year-old Harrison will forever remain in their shadow.
“The only reason she [Kayla Harrison] has a job in the UFC is because of me. And Kayla is so irrelevant that she could not even keep the 145-pound division around. Honestly, she is just sour because no matter what she does or what she accomplishes, she cannot change the fact that she has the charisma of a wet towel and will always be in me and Gina’s shadow.”
