The main event saw Kelly, aiming to maintain his perfect record, step in for an injured Paul Hughes to face Wilson.
Kelly entered the bout on a streak of two consecutive submission victories in the PFL. Wilson, on the other hand, sought to rebound from a decision loss to Archie Colgan in October. In the co-main event, former UFC and Cage Warriors fighter Rhys McKee made his Smart Cage debut against Alex Lohore in a catchweight bout at 176 pounds.
