Arman Tsarukyan, a prominent UFC lightweight contender, was allegedly removed from an Armenian Airlines flight en route to Philadelphia for an upcoming event. The incident occurred as the plane was preparing for takeoff.
According to reports and circulating videos, the situation escalated when one of Tsarukyan’s companions reportedly opened a tray table during the critical takeoff phase, while another was using a mobile device. In response, Tsarukyan, along with two of his teammates, were asked to disembark the aircraft.
A witness, Adam Zubayraev, stated, “Simply because someone on the team was using their phone while the plane was taking off, and the second person opened a table. It was because of this that Arman and his two friends were kicked off the plane that was heading to the RAF tournament.”
Footage from the scene shows Tsarukyan interacting with security personnel and appearing to smile before being escorted from the plane. Following the incident, Tsarukyan expressed his dissatisfaction, describing the airline’s services as “rude and unprofessional.”
Despite the setback, Tsarukyan quickly arranged alternative travel. He was later seen boarding a private jet, demonstrating his commitment to reaching Philadelphia on time for his scheduled match at RAF 08 against Urijah Faber. He humorously captioned a video of himself boarding the private jet, “Kicked off commercial, I guess Private it is.” He also posted on X, “Ladies & Gentlemen, Welcome aboard Arman Airlines ✈️.”

Following his removal from the commercial flight, Arman Tsarukyan wasted no time securing alternative transportation. He was seen boarding a private jet, ensuring he wouldn’t be late for his commitment in Philadelphia at RAF 08. Tsarukyan shared his experience on Instagram with the caption, “Kicked off commercial, I guess Private it is,” accompanied by a video of him boarding the private aircraft in a relaxed manner.
He further commented on X, playfully announcing, “Ladies & Gentlemen, Welcome aboard Arman Airlines ✈️.”
