Top UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has been making light of his recent experience with American Airlines after being asked to deboard a flight. The fighter, along with two teammates, was reportedly removed from a flight to Philadelphia for using his phone during takeoff and other reasons.

Following the incident, Tsarukyan opted for a private jet, arriving in Philadelphia in style. He later shared a humorous clip on Instagram with Nina-Marie Daniele, jokingly threatening to send her to American Airlines if she didn’t do 10 push-ups.

The UFC fighter posted: “10 push-ups or she goes to American Airlines ✈😂 @ninamariedaniele”

New footage has emerged showing Tsarukyan arguing with a flight attendant while recording a video prior to his removal. American Airlines has issued an official statement regarding the incident, stating:

“On April 16, American Airlines flight 513 returned to the gate at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for customers who refused to follow federal regulations. Safety is our top priority, and we expect our customers to comply with crew member instructions while on board our aircraft, which include staying seated while the aircraft is taxiing.”

The statement indicates that Tsarukyan and his companions were standing in the aisle during taxiing and refused to return to their seats, leading to their removal from the flight.

Tsarukyan is scheduled to compete at Real American Freestyle this weekend against UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber.
