World-renowned boxer Tyson Fury recently embarked on a road trip across Scotland, where he was seen enjoying the local culture by visiting a bar and exploring a historic castle.

The 36-year-old boxing icon travelled north as part of the production for the Netflix show “At Home With The Furys.”

During his tour, the former world heavyweight champion stopped at Carbisdale Castle in the Highlands. He was given a tour of the fully restored 118-year-old property, learning about the extensive work involved in transforming it into a luxurious residence.

The castle`s owner, Samantha Kane, was unfortunately away at Royal Ascot during Fury`s visit. However, her staff, Sarah and Michael, welcomed him and provided the tour.

Ms. Kane later commented, “World-famous heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury made an unexpected visit to Carbisdale Castle while I was at Ascot yesterday and was greeted by Sarah and Michael, who showed him around the Castle and what was achieved in bringing Carbisdale to its former glory. He was very impressed indeed. Thank you Tyson for your visit.”

Earlier in the week, Fury caused a stir in Grantown-on-Spey, Moray, when he was photographed walking shirtless while wearing a red tartan kilt and matching tie. The boxer got fitted for his kilt at a local shop and spent time chatting with residents.

He also visited the Claymore Bar, where he was seen enjoying pints of Guinness and happily posing for photographs with the staff and other patrons.

His Scottish travels also included stops in Wick and John O`Groats in the Caithness region.

Tyson Fury is travelling with his wife Paris, their children, and a film crew while shooting the second season of “At Home With The Furys.” He readily posed for pictures with fans he met along the way, including the manager of Cromdale FC, Stuart Dunbar, who jokingly suggested signing him up for the team.

The article also mentions the castle owner, Samantha Kane, noting her personal history as the only person in Britain to have undergone gender reassignment surgery three times. Born Sam Hashimi in Iraq, she became Samantha in 1997, Charles Kane in 2004, and returned to Samantha in 2018. A barrister and business tycoon, she was involved in a bid for Sheffield United Football Club in 2000. She purchased the dilapidated Carbisdale Castle in 2022.

Regarding his boxing career, the article notes his recent bouts, including losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
