Following his successful return to the boxing ring, Tommy Fury sent a strong, aggressive message directed at Jake Paul.

On Friday evening, the former reality TV personality convincingly defeated Bosnian fighter Kenan Hanjalic over six rounds, securing a victory by unanimous decision.

Fury, aged 26, was highly energetic after competing for the first time in over 18 months and directly challenged his long-standing adversary, Jake Paul, immediately after his match.

Using strong language, Fury, also known as `TNT`, declared Paul was avoiding him. He added, “Jake, my hand is fixed now, baby. My hand is fixed.”

He stated, “Tonight, I fought someone with over 100 amateur bouts, incredibly experienced and exceptionally tough.”

Fury then promised, “If Jake Paul dares to enter the ring against me, I absolutely guarantee I will knock him completely unconscious the next time.”

Fury and Paul previously competed against each other in Saudi Arabia in February 2023.

In that bout, Fury, who is the younger sibling of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, inflicted the only defeat on the record of the YouTuber turned boxer, winning by split decision.

While both fighters have hinted at a second fight, a rematch has not yet materialized.

The win against Hanjalic was Fury`s first professional fight since his majority decision victory over KSI in October 2023.

After being declared the winner, he shared heartfelt words about his girlfriend, Molly-Mae Hague, and their daughter, Bambi.

He expressed gratitude, saying, “I want to attribute this victory to the Lord Saviour Jesus Christ; without Him, none of this would be achievable.”

He continued, “I send my love to my beautiful daughter, Bambi, back home, and my beloved, Molly. She will forever be mine.”

He added, “And I want to dedicate this achievement to my mother and father, because I wouldn`t be alive or here without them.”

Fury emphasized, “My parents are the reason I am who I am today. I will love them always and owe them everything.”

Fury also spoke candidly about his struggles with mental health challenges and alcohol use.

He remarked, “The past two years have been incredibly difficult. I`ve gone through experiences that could devastate anyone.”

He admitted, “I was drinking heavily, an alcoholic, and for a while, I distanced myself from my family.”

“However,” he concluded, “I`ve managed to turn my life around, moving from a low point to feeling on top of the world again.”

Fury`s return bout was part of a four-fight event held at the MTK Arena in Budapest.

The boxing card itself was considered uninspiring, with the event`s presenters garnering more attention during the DAZN broadcast.

The broadcast featured multiple musical acts and a techno DJ set resembling those found in Ibiza clubs.

The unusual production choices surprised boxing viewers; one commented, “Words cannot express how happy I was to witness a popstar musical interlude during this Tommy Fury boxing event in Hungary.”

Another viewer noted, “Some strange decisions were made in the production, including like 3 or 4 music acts; this event is truly odd.”
