The mixed martial arts world, particularly the Professional Fighters League (PFL), is mourning the passing of a valued member of their team, Jeff Brady.
Jeff Brady, who worked as an operations manager responsible for merchandise, apparel, and consumer products for PFL and previously for Bellator, tragically died in Arizona on Sunday.
His death came as a result of a courageous act where he saved the lives of two children who were drowning in a river. Brady`s selflessness in the face of danger has led to him being celebrated as a hero.
The news was first shared publicly by his twin brother, Greg Brady, through a heartfelt dedication posted on Instagram. Greg described the immense personal loss while highlighting his brother`s extraordinary bravery.
Greg urged others to honor his brother`s memory: “If you knew him, honor him by living with the same courage and kindness he showed every day.”
Upon learning of the tragedy, numerous fighters from various promotions paid their respects and offered condolences to Jeff Brady`s family.
Former UFC champion Tyron Woodley shared his thoughts, commenting, “Wow. One time for Jeff! An amazing human. Condolences to your family. Long live your legacy.”
Other prominent fighters extending their sympathies included Cris Cyborg, Dakota Ditcheva, and the brothers Patricio and Patricky Pitbull.
Jeff Brady will be remembered for his contributions to the sport`s operations and, most significantly, for his ultimate sacrifice in saving the lives of others.
