Preview PFL Postpones Paris Event Again

Professional Fighters League (PFL) has once more called off a planned event in Paris, cancelling the show previously scheduled for May 23rd in France.

The league announced the decision, terming it a “reschedule” and confirming ticket refunds, but did not disclose the specific reasons for the cancellation or provide a new date. This follows a previous announcement regarding a Bellator Paris show (assets now owned by PFL) that was also described as being “rescheduled for later dates.”

The now-cancelled Paris card was set to feature the highly anticipated mixed martial arts debut of former French national football team and Manchester United captain Patrice Evra. However, the event was scrapped before an opponent for Evra had even been named.

The fight night was also expected to be headlined by a lightweight bout between local favorite Mansour Barnaoui and Archie Colgan. As of now, the promotion has not announced whether the scheduled contests, including several PFL Europe bantamweight fights, will be moved to alternative events.
