In the co-main event of PFL Africa on Saturday, Ditcheva secured a decisive unanimous decision victory over Sumiko Inaba (now 8-2), extending her impressive professional record to 15-0. Throughout all three rounds, the formidable British fighter consistently outstruck Inaba, leaving absolutely no doubt about the final outcome when the bell rang.

During the bout, Ditcheva was observed signalling a potential hand injury. She later confirmed in her post-fight interview that she was not operating at 100 percent for a portion of the fight due to this issue.

“I believe I`ve injured my left hand,” Ditcheva stated, expressing greater disappointment over being sidelined for such a long period, only to return and face another injury. “Nevertheless, I hope you all enjoyed the fight; thank you very much,” she added, addressing the fans.

Adding to the post-fight revelations, Ditcheva also announced that she recently finalized a new contract with the PFL organization.

Despite entering the fight as a significant underdog, Inaba started the contest with clear intentions of playing spoiler, aggressively rushing Ditcheva in the opening round and relying on her sheer toughness to absorb Ditcheva’s accurate strikes.
