Darren Till and Darren Stewart delivered an intense and memorable main event at Misfits Boxing 21 in Derby. Former UFC fighter Till secured two significant knockdowns during the fight, including one right at the very end. However, his opponent, also a former UFC standout, Stewart, grew stronger as the bout progressed, providing a serious challenge.

The undercard also featured notable moments. Wakey Wines pulled off a surprising points victory over Mo Deen, much to the crowd`s excitement. Ty Mitchell also claimed the Misfits Pro Light Heavyweight title by stopping Idris Virgo.

Main Event: Darren Till vs Darren Stewart

The Cruiserweight main event between Darren `The Gorilla` Till and Darren `The Dentist` Stewart was an eight-round battle. Till, who had won his previous two boxing matches since leaving UFC, faced a postponed fight date, adding to the anticipation.

Fight Summary:

Round 1: Till started strong, landing a clean straight left that resulted in Stewart being knocked down. Despite a scrappy start, Till looked sharp and his dangerous left hand was a constant threat.

Round 2: Stewart attempted to make the fight messy with clinches, but Till continued to land his left hand effectively. Another strong round for Till, showcasing his boxing.

Round 3: Stewart found more success by constantly pushing Till towards the ropes and engaging in the clinch, which limited Till`s reach. Stewart landed some short hooks, marking his best round yet.

Round 4: This round was closely contested. Stewart continued to have success, especially with the referee allowing clinching. Towards the end, Till managed to land his left hand again with a hook around Stewart`s guard. The fight reached its halfway point.

Round 5: Darren Stewart clearly grew into the fight, persistently pressuring Till against the ropes. Till spent much of the round on the back foot and needed to increase his offense.

Round 6: Similar to the previous rounds, Till was against the ropes while Stewart worked on the inside. Many of Stewart`s punches were blocked, but Till`s lack of return fire made it difficult for judges to score in his favor. Stewart seemed dominant for much of the fight.

Round 7: Till landed some uppercuts and hooks while on the ropes, though nothing decisive. Stewart finished the round with a flurry that lacked power. The Dentist continued to apply pressure as they headed into the final round.

Round 8: Till showed more aggression in the final round, landing hooks when Stewart closed the distance. A clean left hook from Till landed, spraying sweat. Stewart continued to seek the clinch. Till sustained a cut on his head. Right at the bell, Till landed a straight left that dropped Stewart. Stewart got up after the count finished.

Result: The judges scored the contest 77-74, 77-74, and 77-73, all in favor of Darren Till. It was a close fight, but Till`s knockdowns proved decisive.
