Podcast host Joe Rogan expressed his astonishment upon discovering the substantial earnings rapper Drake has accumulated through his mixed martial arts (MMA) wagers.
Known for his high-stakes betting, the acclaimed music artist frequently places significant sums on nearly every Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) pay-per-view event.
Recently, he incurred a $200,000 loss after his prediction for Charles Oliveira to defeat Ilia Topuria at UFC 317 proved incorrect.
Drake`s frequent losses led to widespread online speculation about a “Drake Curse,” a popular misconception that was thoroughly debunked by Joe Rogan on a recent installment of his highly popular podcast.

Rogan Uncovers Drake`s Betting Success
The veteran UFC commentator recently engaged in a discussion about sports wagering with fellow comedian James McCann.
Initially, Rogan attempted to inform his guest about Drake`s reputation for significant losses on UFC matchups.
However, a swift examination of the actual figures profoundly surprised Rogan, revealing that the widely believed “curse” was, in fact, nonexistent.
“There`s this whole `Drake thing` because he places huge bets on the UFC,” Rogan explained.
“People even call it the `Drake Curse`,” he added.
At this point, Rogan`s producer accessed a website specifically tracking Drake`s publicly disclosed wagers.
The site indicated that the ‘One Dance’ artist had amassed over $1 million in net profits from his substantial UFC bets.
Rogan then read aloud the statistics: “Wow! From all his public UFC bets, across more than 25 wagers, he`s put down $13.45 million and received $14.48 million back. He`s won 10 out of those 25 bets, while losing 15 times.”
“It`s fascinating,” Rogan remarked, “because he`s only had a 40 percent win rate, yet he places such large bets only when he`s confident, which explains why he`s still in profit.”
Rogan`s Offer of Betting Advice to Drake
Earlier, in November 2024, Rogan had expressed his concern about Drake`s perceived betting losses and had publicly offered him UFC fight strategy advice.
“I want to connect with Drake and discuss his fight predictions,” Rogan had stated.
“That guy loses more money on fights than almost anyone,” he had emphasized, “I seriously want to call him.”
However, the newly revealed figures clearly indicate that Drake is managing his betting endeavors quite profitably, seemingly without the need for input from Rogan or any other advisors.
