UFC President Dana White has shared his enthusiastic reaction following the announcement of a significant new media agreement for his boxing venture, Zuffa Boxing.

Earlier this year, TKO Holdings revealed plans for a new boxing promotion, provisionally named TKO Boxing, to be spearheaded by White himself alongside Saudi Arabian entertainment mogul Turki Alalshikh. Just a few weeks prior, the promotion successfully staged its inaugural major event: the highly anticipated undisputed super middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford, a bout hailed as one of the century`s biggest boxing spectacles.

Following this successful debut, it has now been confirmed that TKO`s boxing arm has secured a new broadcasting home, mirroring the path taken by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Zuffa Boxing Secures New Broadcast Deal with Paramount

In early August, the UFC concluded its long-standing broadcast partnership with ESPN in the United States, in favor of a monumental $7.7 billion deal with Paramount. Now, mere weeks after its initial foray into professional boxing, Zuffa Boxing has also finalized a media rights agreement with Paramount.

Zuffa Boxing is the newly established professional boxing promotion formed by TKO and the prominent entertainment conglomerate Sela, under the leadership of Dana White and Turki Alalshikh.

Commencing in January 2026, Paramount will exclusively distribute a comprehensive schedule of Zuffa Boxing events. The initial plan includes 12 events, with intentions to increase this number in subsequent years. These events will be accessible via Paramount+, with the possibility of select events being simulcast on CBS, aligning with the UFC`s new arrangement with the broadcaster.

“I’m excited to bring great boxing events to a global audience,” White stated in a press release. “Millions of boxing fans will now be able to watch competitive fights featuring both up-and-coming boxers and the sport`s biggest stars. Paramount will serve as the premier destination for UFC and boxing fans to witness the greatest fights in combat sports.”

Turki Alalshikh Comments on the Historic New Deal

Turki Alalshikh is widely recognized as a pivotal figure in revitalizing boxing, having orchestrated some of the most highly anticipated fights in the sport over recent years.

“This partnership with Paramount reinforces our vision to redefine how viewers consume boxing. More fight fans will now have access to watch some of the most exciting boxers around. We have seen clear evidence that the appetite is there; this is the future for live boxing coverage, and we are committed to ensuring the sport continues to thrive,” Alalshikh commented.
