Brandon Adams (25-4, 16 KO) is gearing up for a highly anticipated rematch against Serhii Bohachuk (26-2, 24 KO) on September 13 in Las Vegas. This clash will be a prominent feature of the star-studded Canelo-Crawford boxing event. Their previous encounter in March 2021 saw Adams, despite being an underdog and trailing on points after seven rounds, secure a dramatic eighth-round knockout victory over Bohachuk. The Ukrainian contender was the favorite in that initial bout.
Currently, Serhii Bohachuk holds the top spot in the WBC super welterweight rankings, and this upcoming fight will take place at an intermediate weight limit of 70.75 kg. Adams is, however, steadfast in his confidence and promises to replicate his previous success.
“This is a good option for both of us, and the fight will be interesting, but the rematch will again be in my favor,” Adams confidently asserted. “I am confident in myself, and not just because I have already knocked him out once. I just feel that today I am boxing much better than I did then. Style determines the outcome of the fight, and my boxing style is a problem for him. I will stop him for a second time.”
