UFC fighter Dan Hooker is currently embroiled in a significant family dispute, facing allegations of infidelity, including claims of a relationship with another man, and a public confrontation with his father-in-law, Andy Bernal.

The recent accusations surface amidst a challenging period for the UFC veteran, who has secured only one victory in the octagon since 2023. This string of professional setbacks now appears to be mirrored in his personal life, as the Australian athlete faces criticism from family and friends.

Hooker, who has two children with his wife, is accused of marital infidelity. Reports from a woman identifying herself as his former mistress suggest his alleged unfaithfulness extended beyond relationships with other women, claiming he had relations with another man during his marriage, triggering a widespread scandal.

In a detailed social media post, the alleged mistress claimed Hooker financially supported her extensively, covering rent in multiple countries and providing access to his funds. She described a pattern of infidelity where Hooker would appease her with expensive gifts after each instance of cheating. This continued until she discovered, by checking his phone, that his infidelity allegedly involved another man, which she stated “changed everything” for her.

Dan Hooker responded to the claims on social media with a humorous tone, seemingly dismissing the allegations of a relationship with another man. The 36-year-old suggested the “unusual” accusation stemmed from a “woman scorned,” implying her pride was hurt. He jokingly questioned, “No sh*t, I’m gay now?” in his post.

While many fans reacted to the public dispute with humor, creating memes and jokes, the situation was not amusing to everyone.

Following these allegations, Dan Hooker also received a serious public threat from his father-in-law, Andy Bernal, who intervened to condemn Hooker for allegedly mistreating his daughter.

Bernal, a respected former soccer player with a significant career in England and Australia and 13 international caps, emphasized his readiness to defend his family, despite not being a professional fighter.

In a strongly worded video message, Bernal directly addressed Hooker, calling him a “piece of sh*t” and contrasting his current actions with a previous positive portrayal in Bernal’s autobiography. Bernal challenged the UFC fighter’s “tough guy” image, noting his recent losses in the octagon. He asserted that his daughter and granddaughters “deserve better” and dared Hooker to meet him “face-to-face” if he was “a man.” Bernal, a 59-year-old, boldly stated he would “whoop [Hooker’s] ass too,” accusing Hooker of being all “big talk” despite his physical presence and tattoos.
